How It Works

This tool converts numeric input into its English word representation. It handles numbers from zero up to 999 trillion (and their negatives), with support for decimals.

• Cardinal — the standard word form of a number (e.g. 42 → "forty-two"). Handles integers and decimal numbers.
• Ordinal — the positional form of a number (e.g. 42 → "forty-second"). Commonly used for rankings and dates.
• Currency — formats the number as a monetary amount in words (e.g. 42.50 → "forty-two dollars and fifty cents"). Supports USD, EUR, and GBP.

All processing is done locally in your browser — no data is sent to any server.
